IntlDateFormatter::format

datefmt_format

IntlDateFormatter::format -- datefmt_formatFormat the date/time value as a string

Description

Object oriented style

string IntlDateFormatter::format ( mixed $value )

Procedural style

string datefmt_format ( IntlDateFormatter $fmt , mixed $value )

Formats the time value as a string.

Parameters

fmt

The date formatter resource.

value

Value to format. This may be a DateTime object, an integer representing a Unix timestamp value (seconds since epoch, UTC) or an array in the format output by localtime().

Return Values

The formatted string or, if an error occurred, FALSE.
